The Teachers' Guild of New South Wales was founded in 1892 and is the oldest professional association of educators in Australia.

LIFE MEMBERSHIP
Life Members will have had extensive, long-term involvement in the Teachers’ Guild of New South Wales, such as extensive publications in the Guild journal, Proceedings, or service on the Council as President, Vice President, Secretary or Treasurer, for at least three years or have served on the Council for a period of ten or more years.
INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP
Individual Membership is open to new members who are currently teaching or have retired from the education profession.
GUILD EDUCATORS NETWORK
The new educators network offers anyone new to teaching in NSW (from student teachers to early career teachers) a place to network, to get involved in GUILD activities, to receive support, advice and professional development in their new career or studies, and to share their experiences and ideas
